Personally, she's giving me the vibes of a girl who has such a low opinion of herself that she's starved for attention to make up for it. So she's doing everything she can to become the kind of girl everyone wants to hang out with: be fashionable, land herself a good-looking boyfriend... The textbook cliché of the popular girl.

It's certainly a naive and immature way to go about it, but she has room to grow. I'm only going to dislike her if she starts actively pushing others away (or worse, becoming more hostile towards them) just to hog Shima to herself.

I expected her to warm up to her earlier in the ep than they did, but I'm glad it finally happened. As we can see, she's somewhat traumatized do to unpleasant past experiences, which is understandable, but I WAS surprised that her gauge of Mitsumi was so skewed! XD She's a barfing shadow boss! XD (Makes me think of the game EarthBound)

This anime among other anime portray people in a very interesting way but most of the time real life people aren't like that.
We live in a society where you judge a book by the cover and this applies to how society sees people. People like Yuzuki are not that nice IRL.

not really. Maybe you only had bad luck to meet people like that. But I met many people in my life, its true what u said, but people like yuzuki do exist. I had one friend who is visually beautiful, she was a model, a medical graduate, but she was nice, since she always judged by the cover only, she never judge people by the cover, always think logical, and very passionate about what she likes.

well one of my best friends shes like really pretty and popular as well but she is certainly not one of those bad bitch type shes more like really sweet and calm vibes so yeah but at the same side one of my classmates is like really pretty and is academically doing well and is even on the student council but shes kind of a bully like ive seen her make fun of people and she also gets princess treatment so that makes it worse.... ig there are all types of people in this world uk

well it depend i would said, passion can be a exception. When people really like to do something like sports, movie, card games or even DnD people can put their prejudice asside and be like shima. chill and enjoying the present moment.

There are people out there who are similar to Yuzuki, minus the bad attitude. I guess it just comes to the amount of people you met with similar personality, but it doesn't mean that the majority of them are the same as those people since not everyone are on the same sides at the end of the day. It was funny how Kurume thought Iwakura was some sort of Ayanokoji. It doesn't help that Iwakura actions paint her as such, but once you get to know her she seems so goofy haha

What I liked in this episode was how Mitsumi kind of adopted Kurume, who is that shy, a bit awkward, nerdish looking girl. And I really liked Murashige who wanted to befriend her. Murashige is a really nice girl.

Says the girl who has her days planned down to the minute. ^^;

She's already used to that routine of course it wouldn't be so tough for her lol, she's built up the resilience needed.

I really liked this episode, just seeing how the friendships develop and seeing Kurume's perspective on Mitsumi and the people around her. Like there are certain moments you can see her view of her has changed and I just really like how they were done, it was done so heartwarmingly and it's just so sweet to see.

One particular moment that comes to mind was in the cafe, there was one moment where Kurume finally lowers her guard once she realizes these people are not who she thought they were and I'm just glad for her she was able to do that, especially after learning how she has been affected by some form of bullying in the past.

It's just great to see her opening up and because of that she introduces something new by allowing herself to make a new attempt like with the drink, before she would never have bought it but it ended up being better than she expected.

And then there's the part with Murashige how she wasn't sure how to handle her because of her own preconceptions and ended up finding out it was hurting the other party who was trying to befriend her so seeing her actually send a message with an apology and her willing to change was really great.

It was nice to see the two girls get along after the movies and I look forward to see how Kurume's relationship with Mitsuki and Murashige develops from here on out.

I also thought that one moment with Shima was really interesting, where he realizes the red hair's insecurity, he really knows how to read the room and he's more observant than he appears to be.

It was amusing how Nao looked like they were going to have a heart attack because of how Mitsumi dressed herself, thank goodness she was stopped and didn't go out in that outfit lol.
